The Weekly Astrology Forecast Is Out~ Get Ready For The Full Moon!

I am a HUGE fan of the Astro-Twins and their weekly astrology forecasts. They have a fabulous way of mixing in humor with real-life, while explaining what the planets are up too.  I hope you enjoy this weeks astrology forecast!

Double rainbow! This Friday, July 31 brings the full moon in magical, metaphysical Aquarius. Do you believe in unicorns? Well, by the time the workweek wraps, you might also believe in mermaids. This full moon marks the manifestation of TWO Aquarius new moons from early 2015—the January 20 supermoon and the second new moon on February 18, which heralded the Chinese Year of the Sheep http://astrostyle.com/year-of-the-sheep/.

Seeds we planted early in the year could start to bear fruit—especially our idealistic, out-of-the box dreams. When in doubt, take the unconventional route! Aquarius is the sign that governs teamwork and technology. There will be group victories to celebrate this week or a deep desire to find our soul tribes. Turn on the searchlight. Those kindred spirits could be revealed within two weeks of Friday.

Feel like making the world a better place? (Hands raised.) Power-to-the-people Aquarius energy helps guide us to humanitarian missions. Whether they involve global activism or a little community cleanup, there is strength in numbers. No good deed is too small…but why not go a little bigger, inviting the social network to get in on the goodwill game?

Venus remains in retrograde this week (read our Venus retrograde survival tips here!), hovering in fussy Virgo until Friday. Pick, pick, pick…peck, peck, peck: We could snuff out the loving vibes by being too “helpful” or involved in our lovers’ affairs. Keep expectations reasonable, please. We may demand perfection of our partners during the workweek. Comparing means despairing, so who gives a f*** what The Joneses think about our love lives? Close the opinion polls and screen out the gossips!

On Saturday, Venus floats back into Leo, rounding out the retrograde here until September 6. Passion or high drama? This five-week phase will be quite the storied one. We’ll all need a lot more attention, but who is going to play the role of the cheering supporter? After Friday, we’ll have to work harder at listening as well as stepping back and letting others shine, too. Old flames have a funny way of showing up while Venus is in reverse. There could be some rather emotional reunions in August—welcome or not. Keep lines as clear as possible and just remember that it will all shake out by September.

Got wedding plans during Venus retrograde? No need to call off the caterers and elope to Vegas. But it wouldn’t hurt to squeeze in one extra counseling session before the nuptials JUST to be sure you’ve worked out all those final knots and fears. We recommend a vow renewal on your first anniversary—thankfully, Venus will NOT be retrograde next summer!

On Saturday, the summer’s storm clouds begin to clear as dour Saturn wakes up from a long retrograde that began on March 14. Since June 14, Saturn slipped back from Sagittarius into Scorpio for a final encore of a tour that began in October 2012.  Talk about intense! Saturn’s three-year reign through Scorpio has forced us all to deal with our shadows. Power struggles, vengeance, emotional manipulation—it’s brought enough material to script at least three seasons of Game Of Thrones.

On September 17, Saturn will officially move on to Sagittarius—and won’t return to Scorpio again until 2041! But Scorpio is also the sign of transformation. The phoenix is rising from the ashes for the next six weeks. Now is the time to really tackle an area of life that needs to be whipped into shape. No excuses! This is extreme makeover territory we’re talking about here. While we’ll need to be very black and white about our limits, we can still tap the mystical realm for support. Saturn in Scorpio loves a dash of magic along with those practical plans.

Break out the angel cards, set up a manifestation altar, cobble together a vision board. Relationships could hit their stride or break up for good since Saturn in Scorpio affects our intimate lives. Listening to our intuition is as important in the boardroom as it is in the bedroom. Like we said: No excuses! If words and actions don’t match up, something (or someone) has got to go. But for those who have a soulmate to appreciate (not a perfect one, but a qualified candidate), bring on those loving feelings!

The Weekly Astrology Forecast Is Out ~ Time to Stand Out!

Rule number one for the week: Don’t be basic!

On Wednesday, July 22 the Sun bursts into passionate, theatrical Leo—bringing out the show ponies in us all. One day later, messenger Mercury joins the Leo party until August 7, amplifying the volume even higher. Unfiltered self-expression is the name of the game until August 23.

But wait…there’s more. Supersizer Jupiter is also in Leo through August 11, rounding out a 13-month journey. Pump up the volume on those bold moves—and make sure to cast a wide net since Jupiter is the zodiac’s jetsetter.

Romantic heat will not be in short order between now and August 23, and the creative juices will flow like sweet, frozen margaritas. If thinking about making a daring change to your look, book the salon or inking appointment BEFORE Venus turns retrograde on Saturday!

Forget about waiting to be discovered. Wage a PR campaign to promote your latest creations and keep ‘em captivated with your charisma! This “check me out!” energy is sanctioned by the stars, whether we are shamelessly self-promoting or launching well-timed humble brags. The downside of this fiery phase? We can overestimate our abilities and get caught up in ego trips. Oops. Keep a proverbial lion’s paw planted on Planet Earth to avoid losing touch with reality.

On Saturday, love planet Venus turns retrograde for six weeks—in Virgo until July 31, then retreating through Leo until September 6. This biennial backspin can jam up Cupid’s signals. Big time: While Venus is in Virgo, beware of being critical and nitpicky; once it transits into Leo, dial down the drama and keep the diva antics to a minimum.

And, for the entire six weeks of the retrograde, be careful not to conflate minor molehills into ice-capped mountains…or fiery volcanoes! Making permanent and binding decisions about love (and style!) can be less than auspicious while Venus is in reverse.

The summer’s fire warnings could include heated reunions with old flames. Exes could come creeping out of the underbrush. This might be good news for those hoping for a sequel with “the one that got away.” But we’ll have to wait until after September 6 to see which situations are REALLY meant to stick. Couples may struggle to align their individual quests with the needs of the relationship. Some tough compromises will be in store. Keep the couple’s therapist’s number in your favorites list!

Keeping cool won’t be easy this weekend. Not at all. Firebrand Mars in Cancer will clash with combustible Uranus in Aries bringing out an aggressive energy in us all. Mars in Cancer makes everyone super sensitive while Uranus in Aries turns the emotional cauldron into a boiling pot. Feelings aren’t facts—but they sure will feel like it. Keeping calm and carrying on may not be a marching order most of us can follow; however, we’d be wise to let off steam with a neutral third party instead of clashing in the heat of the moment. Bridges can be burned under this astrological configuration, especially with family, neighbors and close friends—Cancer’s domain.

One day later, change-maker Uranus back-flips through Aries until December 25, pressing pause on a few of our revolutionary plans. Although we may be eager for change, sudden moves are not advised. Space-age Uranus is the planet of technology and innovation. We’ll need to go back to the drawing board and fine tune our future-forward ideas.

If we’ve thrown the baby (read: traditional wisdom and proven techniques) out with the bathwater, now is the time to integrate the tried and true once again. Incorporating savvier software solutions, apps and digital systems can make everything run more smoothly and efficiently. Of course, this retrograde could also bring a welcome relief from device dependency. Leave the cellphones in bags and skip the Skype sessions in favor of more IRL face time. Analog hangouts are so refreshing! Uranus is the community planet, so many of us will question where exactly we belong. Since retrogrades rule the past, we could reconnect to groups and humanitarian missions (also Uranus’ wheelhouse) that fulfilled us once before. But don’t go sacrificing individuality for “group think.” The herd mentality could lead us astray now and it’s important to maintain our critical thinking skills in the face of peer pressure.

The Weekly Astrology Forecast is Out ~ Emotions Run Wild!

The stars are serving it up, family style this week! On Wednesday, July 15 the annual new moon in Cancer brings its warm-fuzzy beams to the world. Cozy, intimate Cancer energy reminds us to appreciate the people in our inner circles—the ones we often take for granted. As the zodiac’s most feminine sign, the ladies in our lives will play starring roles under the Cancer new moon. Consider this a cosmic Mother’s Day, Sadie Hawkins Dance and Ladies Night rolled into one. Call your mama and make a point of connecting to the intriguing women hovering about. With our nesting instincts activated by la luna, spending time at home base helps us feel more centered. In the market for a Home-Sweet-Home? This domestic new moon could reveal a dream listing or inspire a remodel or decorating spree.

Head’s up! The emotion ocean will run deep as this new moon washes up alongside FIVE other planets in water signs: The expressive Sun and Mercury will be in Cancer, as well as motivator Mars. Dreamy Neptune is drifting through Pisces, while stable Saturn is anchored in Scorpio. There’s no time like the present for a family reunion or to get the #girlgang together for some quality bonding time. Just keep the drunken uncle and crazymaking cousins off the guest list. On Friday, tempestuous Pluto will directly oppose combative Mars and quicksilver Mercury. And both planets will form a combustible square to Uranus on Saturday, setting the stage for explosive emotions. These troubling transits could make us all a little too quick to fire off a round of defensive jabs or critical commentary. Power struggles may erupt in our closest relationships, too. It’s going to take some serious self-control to make it through the weekend without any drama. May we suggest venting to a levelheaded friend and cooling down before getting in anyone’s face? Emotions are best expressed when we’ve had a chance to step back and view them objectively, NOT in the heat of the moment.

Venus switches signs on Saturday the 18th, heading into Virgo for a brief, two-week staycation. Acts Of Service is officially the love language of this Venus phase (a nod to Dr. Gary Chapman’s The 5 Love Languages. Ask not what your partner can do for you. Instead, find ways to be helpful, encouraging and supportive of the one you love. Not that we should mistake this phase for martyrdom. Keep the balance of giving and receiving balanced to avoid resentment or burnout. (Or worse, going from Hot Mama to Mother Hen with one too many a favor.) Venus in Virgo likes things spelled out in plain text. Simply asking for what we need—without all the backstory and apologies—is the quickest way to get it. Another mantra to adopt for the remainder of July? When you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Open up that shared calendar, lovebirds, and set some dates in stone. Those festival tickets aren’t going to reserve themselves—hello!

Head’s up: From July 25 to September 6, Venus will be retrograde—in Virgo until July 31, then inching back into Leo for the remainder of its backspin. Old quarrels could crop up, especially when it comes to those nitpicky quirks you continually clash over. Old flames could start flash fires again but Venus’ backspin can also send us on a sentimental voyage. More on that in next week’s horoscope, but if you need to buttress your emotional fort against an ex’s charms, do the necessary un-friending and damage control this weekend!   The fabulous Ophira and Tali Edut, known as The AstroTwins, are identical twin sisters and professional astrologers a big thank you to them for bringing this weeks astrology forecast to us!

The Weekend Love Forecast ~ Emotions Run Wild!

Weekend Love Forecast

The Moon will be in sensual Taurus all day Friday and into Saturday night. While this might set up a perfect date night for Friday evening, you’ll want to keep things as light as possible by Saturday night. This is because the Taurus Moon will be in opposition to restrictive Saturn. You’ll go from emotionally open to shut in the blink of an eye. Or, it’s possible that you’ll get your hopes high romantically, only to be disappointed by circumstances beyond your control.

Then, the Moon will enter Gemini on Saturday night turning emotional matters into “food for thought” for the rest of the weekend. Still, don’t expect to want to spend all of your time thinking about love. On Sunday, the Sun will square off with Uranus making everyone yearn to break free from anything stale or boring. Including an outworn relationship.  A big thank you to World Famous Astrologer, Maria DeSimone for bringing us this weekends Love Forecast.

Weekly Astrology Forecast ~ Look Out For Hidden Agendas This Week!

Passion! Drama! Intrigue! Oh, and a side of subterfuge, too. This week has 007 written all over it. On Monday, July 6, the “skyfall” begins as the Sun in private, possessive Cancer makes its annual opposition to seductive, secretive Pluto in Capricorn. Grab those spy goggles! This celestial smackdown ratchets up our trust issues—and not without good reason. There could be some serious hidden agendas, ulterior motives and manipulative moves going down early this week. But that doesn’t mean we have to treat everyone we meet as if they are a potential Auric Goldfinger or Pussy Galore. Simply start the week off on a careful note, and think about keeping a few more precious life moments private. Speaking of which, the Sun-Pluto opposition can bring some seriously sexy sparks. There’s a thin line between love and hate early this week. Near Monday, it could snap, leading to one of the hottest makeout sessions of, well, the entire summer! While this might fall more in the “It’s Complicated” terrain, a passionate exchange could bring a page-turning moment in our personal autobiographies. But easy now! If this could lead to obsessing or the destruction of a stable bond, run (don’t walk!) in the other direction.

On Thursday, messenger Mercury switches signs, flowing into cozy, private Cancer until July 24. Draw a tighter radius around your inner circle. When it comes to really baring our souls, it’s trusted confidantes only! Old friends and family could become more actively engaged in our lives. Since Cancer is the zodiac’s homemaker, we could summon our domestic doyennes now. Put a leaf in the table and research a killer sangria recipe. Social Mercury is bound to bring some legendary dinner party action while touring the Crab’s domain. Start those decor boards on Pinterest with an eye to both comfort and style. What good is that modernist sofa if it’s too boxy to ever lean back on in repose?

psychic-chat-line-open

There’s also a quarter moon in Aries on Thursday, which saves us from totally slipping off the grid and into obscurity. This balancing lunar event inspires us to self-promote…modestly, that is! Let the world in on your latest developments, even if they are still works in progress. Or, hold a focus group to get feedback on projects. A little outside direction can help us fine-tune before we bring anything into the public-PUBLIC eye. Has your selfie-stick become an extension of your actual arm? Put. It. Down. The Aries quarter moon wants us to aim for authenticity instead of journaling a life that we are too busy photographing to actually be living. All things in moderation is the rule of a quarter moon. So summon that starpower but make sure you can live up to the hype! And if you find that you can’t, use the Aries energy to invest in some self-development, like training and workshops that can take your skill set to the next level.  The fabulous Ophira and Tali Edut, known as The AstroTwins, are identical twin sisters and professional astrologers a big thank you to them for bringing this weeks astrology forecast to us!

The Weekend Love Forecast Is Out! LOVE for ALL!

Weekend Love Forecast

The Moon will be in Aquarius until Sunday morning assuring that your weekend has plenty of opportunity for unexpected emotional encounters. Luckily, there’s an abundance of supportive communications energy to go along with the Moon’s trek through the most detached sign in the zodiac. This will ensure that no matter how logical you attempt to be when it comes to your feelings, you’ll still have an easy time expressing them to someone close.

In fact, with Mercury connected to Jupiter on Friday and then Venus on Sunday you can look forward to amazing romantic conversations that take you to the most unexpected places! When the Moon enters Pisces on Sunday you’ll be in a dreamier emotional place. This will support matters of the heart even more.   A big thank you to World Famous Astrologer, Maria DeSimone for bringing us this weekends Love Forecast.

The Weekly Astrology Forecast Is Out ~ Be Ready for Real Love this Week!

“Gigantic…a big, big love” is our interstellar theme music as romantic Venus and supersizer Jupiter meet up at the same degree of Leo this Wednesday, July 1. Hello, heart-openings, farewell superficial connections. The Venus-Jupiter duo demands love that is passionate, limitless, honest and true. Inauthentic “relationships” crumble this week. Let. Them. Go. There’s much more out there if we’d only follow Jupiter’s directive to expand our search. Jupiter is the liberated risk-taker as well as the cultural ambassador.

Who we fall for this week could break from type. Vacation romance, anyone? Couples getaways are blessed by these cosmic beams, as well. But a few boundaries, please! We are prone to excess during a Venus-Jupiter conjunction and there’s a tendency to overdo things. Don’t hire skywriters on the second date or run to the Vegas Chapel, even if you’re positively positive that you’ve met The One. For some of us, the duet of Venus and indie-spirited Jupiter could sound more like Nicki Minaj and Beyonce’s Feeling Myself collab. Loving thyself is the 101 prerequisite to allowing anyone else to adore you. PS: This is the first of three Venus-Jupiter conjunctions in 2015. Mark August 4 and October 25 for the sequels. The fires that are lit this week could build into a burning blaze by autumn!

There’s business to take care of on Wednesday, too. Keep a powersuit on over your sexy lingerie because the annual full moon in Capricorn activates professional momentum. Hard work of the past six-and-a-half months could pay off big time now, or we could get a golden opportunity to show the world what we’re made of. Circle back to those New Year’s resolutions—or the wishes made during the new moon in Capricorn, which fell on the winter solstice, December 21, 2014. Are those goals manifesting according to plan? Or is it time for a course correction? If what you hoped would be a peak has turned into a valley or a random side road, pause to plug new coordinates into the professional GPS. Bonus: This full moon is at a friendly angle to soulful, creative Neptune. This helps us plot out our next steps in a meaningful and imaginative way. DO make sure to celebrate the victories and accomplishments of the first half of 2015, too! We’ve all grown a helluva lot more than we’re even aware of. Write out a gratitude list, THEN make the wish list. Thank the universe for what’s been provided thus far even if it’s been a big lesson on what NOT to do next. Appreciation paves the road to abundance.

July Fourth falls on Saturday, and with the moon in quirky, free-spirited Aquarius, we’ll have reason to declare our independence—from limiting beliefs, conformity, and people who hold us back from being our true selves. Fly your freak flag along with Old Glory. This year’s celebrations could even be costume-themed! A mermaid or unicorn themed BBQ? Why the heck not? Warning: There may be some extra fireworks Saturday night as the moon opposes #NoLimits #KindaNarcissistic Jupiter in Leo. Remain aware of your limits (uh, maybe holding a lit firecracker in your hand isn’t the best idea). Our self-expression could turn self-indulgent near nightfall so don’t forget to say goodbye to your friends if you decide to leave the party with a new and intriguing acquaintance you meet along the way.

Thank You for Being Mr. Wrong….

Even though at the time it is never easy, I am simply so grateful that you never loved me enough. We never love the same way twice, and while I know in your own way you did love me, it wasn’t the kind that could keep me warm on a blustery winter’s eve. Thank you for showing me that I don’t want someone to be only half in love with me, or to merely sometimes appreciate me—but to leave them breathless.

Thank you for helping make me into the stronger and even more confident woman that I am today.

Thank you for teaching me that the love I seek is the one that is extraordinary.

Thank you for never appreciating me for my individuality and spirit, because it taught me how important it is to stay true to myself.

Thank you for attempting to dim my light so I learned that I needed to burn as bright as I could.

Thank you for being scared of my intelligence and the depths of my mind, because it taught me there is a difference in loving how I look, or how I make you feel versus loving who I really am.

Thank you for not being the man that I needed, so that instead I was able to see the woman I already was.

Thank you for never having the courage to stake a claim on my heart, because it left the space and opportunity for someone who will be brave enough to take a chance on the wonderful desire of the unknown—someone who will cultivate every trait you tried to suppress.

Thank you for being all wrong, because it showed me what right will look like—and for that I will always be eternally grateful.

Weekend Love Forecast is Out ~ It’s an All or Nothing Weekend in Love!

Weekend Love Forecast

This weekend is for love, friendship and deep connections!  The Moon will be in Scorpio all weekend, promising all the intensity your heart and body can handle! Scorpio does nothing halfway. When she’s involved emotionally, it’s an all or nothing response, and you can be sure that matters of the heart are as deep as they can possibly get. Fortunately, there’s more potential for positive and transformative heights in love on Friday and Saturday thanks to the Moon connecting beautifully with Mars, the Sun, Neptune, and Pluto. This lineup suggests the courage to go after what you want emotionally and spiritually in love, along with the reward of fulfillment.

On Sunday however, you might overdo it emotionally and come across as a bit obsessive to your lover. Remember not to intimidate your sweetheart. Instead, invite him or her to swim the emotional depths with you at a reasonable pace.  A big thank you to World Famous Astrologer, Maria DeSimone for bringing us this weekends Love Forecast.

The Weekly Forecast is Out~ Release Your Free Spirited Nature!

So what exactly is “normal,” anyway? That question will color the entire week. It begins this Monday, June 22 when jovial Jupiter and liberated Uranus form a lucky trine (flowing, 120 degree angle) and make the weird seem wonderful. Both planets are known to evoke our free-spirited natures—even more so because they are in creative, courageous fire signs. Take a sharp detour from the “wax on, wax off” way of doing things! Jupiter’s philosophical, sky’s-the-limit mindset gels beautifully with Uranus’ innovative, rule-breaking style. While it might be hard to create a structure or game plan with these two badasses at the wheel, this is the perfect week for high-level brainstorming. Call a summit with the great minds in your world. With Jupiter in flamboyant Leo and Uranus in devil-may-care Aries, the results could be quite show-stopping indeed. This configuration is a rare—it won’t happen again until 2019. But flip back to March 3 of this year, because Jupiter and Uranus met in a trine then, too. This week’s developments could be phase two of what got initiated in the early spring. We may find ourselves interested in spiritual and metaphysical teachings, global politics and social change. Given the friendly angle of these planets, we could see some positive advancements on the world stage and in the tech sector.

Brainfog alert! On Tuesday, messenger Mercury will form a tricky square (90 degree angle) to hazy Neptune, making us all feel like space cadets. Thinking and speaking may be muddled—and common sense could go right out the window.   Mercury leans into logic, while Neptune is a deep feeler. Their clash will push to balance head and heart, and that can be quite positive. A frenemy could get back in our good graces and we might just embrace someone whom we thought we’d never get along with. We may have to think more creatively, too, which can lead to breakthrough developments.

Weekend warriors: Turn on your love lights! On Sunday, romantic Venus will trine effervescent Uranus, bringing some let-your-hair-down energy to the world.  This cosmic confab has “free love” written all over it. Excitement will be preferable to predictability. We might just stop talking midsentence to the Steady Freddie who bought our first Saturday night margarita to chase after the smoldering lead singer who winked at us across the bar. Will we have the best judgment this weekend? Oh, probably not. The point of a Venus-Uranus trine is to enjoy a magical moment instead of trying to force the “happily ever after.” Couples should break out of their predictable grooves. Book a weekend getaway in a lively city or head to a festival together. And hey, if you actually ARE ready to elope, you might just end the weekend with a ring on THAT finger. Venus rules style, and breaking the rules of fashion can be a great way to meet strangers!
